On Sunday 13th April, 5 brave people faced the 26.2 miles of the London Marathon, all for the children of Latin America.
Rory O'Connor, Andrew Gray, Doris Berry, Angela Murray and David Wheeler (above with his medal!) all made it safely from start to finish. They endured crowds, cramp and hailstones, but were determined to make it all the way through.
Ange and Andrew work here at Toybox and are certainly feeling the effects! They really enjoyed the experience, and Ange even met a 101 year old man taking part with his 4 personal trainers!
Our runners have spent the last few months training and fundraising with dedication. Completing a challenge like the London Marathon is a fantastic achievement, both for the runners personally and for the children they were doing it for.
So we'd like to say a huge thank you to all of the runners!
