From Newcastle to Whitehaven - in just 3 days!

Last weekend, a team of 28 cyclists took up the challenge of cycling Coast to Coast to raise money for the street children of Latin America. The teams braved hill and hummock to reach their Newcastle destination, 144 miles away from the start at Whitehaven...

The cyclists left Whitehaven on the morning of Saturday 14th August, getting in to Newcastle to dip their wheels in the opposite coast on the evening of Monday 16th. It was a long way, but they coped magnificently.
