Training
Our desire is to empower the children we work with by giving them the best opportunities possible
From higher college education for the young people in the homes to sewing workshops for parents in poor communities, we aim to support in whatever way we can.
Some of the children living in the homes are more practical than academic, so opportunities are made available so they can choose a skill or trade to learn. This will enable them to earn a living when they leave the home.
Capacity Building
In order to be the most effective, we believe that the strengthening of our partners is vital. Tereza, in Bolivia, is our Training and Capacity Building Coordinator. Her job is to organise and carry out training in the following areas for the institutions we are in partnership with:
- Holistic mission
- Searching for resources
- Holistic development for children
- Strategic planning
- Retreats
- Legal advice
