Toybox is excited to announce that we will be holding a Conference, hosted by Adrian & Bridget Plass on Sat 8th May 2010.

Stepping Up and Reaching Out

Join the Toybox team and special guests for news, stories and an insight into the plans and dreams of what the future may hold for Toybox and the street children of Latin America.

The day is open to all our supporters where we will inspire, inform and encourage you on the work Toybox is doing at home and overseas. 

It will feature inspiring talks from Adrian & Bridget Plass, following their latest trip to El Salvador; a keynote speech from our Chief Executive Andy Stockbridge, a biblical insight from Rev Joel Edwards, and stories from the street children in Latin America – all this rolled up in one memorable day which is not to be missed!

Adrian Plass is one of the UK's foremost Christian writers and speakers. His books are known throughout the world and, alongside his wife, Bridget, he shares the message of Jesus through his poetry, prose and wonderfullly dry humour. Read Adrian's Biography.

Joel Edwards is the international director of Micah Challenge, a global campaign to mobilise Christians against poverty, and to influence leaders of rich and poor nations to fulfill their promise to achieve the Millennium Development Goals. He was previously director general of the Evangelical Alliance and is currnetly one of the Toybox Council of Reference.

Andy Stockbridge is Toybox CEO and has been to Latin America many times to see the work going on there. Andy has a real heart for the street children and is passionate about bringing hope to those children in need.

Interactive Quiz, Biblical Insight from Rev Joel Edwards, Session around street children issues and a chance for you to respond.

Afternoon session 2pm-4pm - a chance to respond and act:
Live link with our Regional Director in Latin America, various breakout sessions covering different aspects of Toybox, and more from Adrian & Bridget.

Afternoon breakout sessions include: How to communicate the message of Toybox - with Adrian Plass; The Child Ambassador - with Bridget Plass; Marketing and Media; Justice & Campaigning; Fair Trading and Toybox Crafts; Champion Churches.
