Support Latin America
Latin America attracts relatively little international aid. But for a small amount of funding these forgotten children can be given the chance to have the kind of life they deserve.
Support street children
With the right support, we can do so much more for street children in
Latin America. For just £300,000 Toybox can support a city-wide project
for 2 years in a major city in Latin America. With your help, this can be
extended across Latin America. The strategy is in place, it’s tried and tested, it just needs more support.
Life for the 40 million children living on the streets of Latin America is a daily battle for survival. Many have been abandoned or orphaned whilst others have run away from abuse. An increasing number of children are born on the streets as natural disaster and poverty see whole families with nowhere to call home.
But things don't have to be like this
Toybox works in partnership with local people in Latin America to provide hope and opportunity to street children and to stem the flow of children taking to the streets in the first place. Latin America currently attracts relatively little international aid and media interest. Toybox is trying to change this.
