Do you have a heart for Bolivia? Why not become a Best Friend and commit to supporting the work of Toybox in Bolivia. The projects in Cochabamba and Oruro see hundreds of children every month, children that need vital
support and care. Many of them have not known what it is to be loved, some
of them are without family. Your commitment will give them a secure future
and the promise of a new start.

Be Peru's Best Friend

Do you have a heart for Peru? Why not become a Best Friend and commit to supporting the work of Toybox in Peru. Our work in Lima is still relatively new, having started in 2008. There are so many children in Peru who are in
desperate need of a friend, someone to talk to and share their thoughts with. Your commitment to Peru will provide that essential support for many children in need.

What will my money do?

£24 a month could do this:

When a child finds their way to the streets of a big Latin
American city, they are desperately looking for hope. They need someone to watch out for them. 'Chasquis' are lookouts – local traders, street vendors, church ministers, teachers and social workers. They get to know the children and try to gain their trust so they can be encouraged to go to one of the Toybox-supported projects. £24 could support and resource the Chasqui network and the work they do out on the streets so they can make contact with more children in need.

£12 a month could do this:

Life out on the streets is full of temptations and dangers.
You can help support children who need individual care
and medical attention following times of addiction and
neglect on the streets. £12 could give them the chance of rehabilitation and restoration – help them to smile again!

£120 a year could do this:

School is a luxury when you're the poorest of the poor
and battling to survive. We help children and teenagers
gain recognised qualifications to help build their future.
Some attend our special street school, others join
vocational courses or attend local schools. £120 could
help with tuition fees, living costs, books and bus fares
for a whole year.
