Latin America - New Challenges, New Responses

Toybox, Youth and Development
A representative from Toybox recently attended a meeting in Westminster on Youth and Development: Learning the Lessons of the World Development Report. The meeting was addresses by Hilary Benn MP, the Secretary of State for International Development in the UK.
The UK government recently asked for people to comment on their future plans as outlined in their paper, Eliminating World Poverty – A consultation Document. Toybox took part in this process.
Two Toybox staff members were also involved as translators representing a Venezualan street child at a United Nations conference about violence towards children.
