Alastair Welford, our chair of trustees has died his hair pink and orange to display his commitment to the street children of Latin America.
Yes, you read that correctly, pink and orange...
Mad you say? Outrageous you cry? Maybe so, but Alastair has already raised over £3000 pounds in sponsorship through this outlandish act. Not only that, but for the following weeks Alastair plans to meet with church leaders and embassy representatives to discuss the work of Toybox and the needs of street children in Latin America. All with bright pink and orange hair.

First it went peroxide... Then it had lashings of colour added to it!
Alastair is making this bold (and colourful!) statement to show just how much he cares about the plight of street children in Latin America. He is prepared to brave the comments of his wife
(!), his family, his business partners and the general public, all because he wants to make a difference to the lives of street children.
So will you stand beside Alastair and show your support for him as he undertakes a great challenge to stand up for the children of Latin America?
By sponsoring Alastair, you will be able to be part of the change; to make a real difference in the life of a child. He has also just reached a milestone birthday this summer, so why not join with Toybox and celebrate his 50th birthday by sponsoring him £50, £500 or even £5000 as he embarks on a truly ridiculous hair’em-scare’em adventure…
You can sponsor him by donating online, sponsoring him via Just Giving or sending your donation to the Toybox office (address at the bottom of the screen).
